Crowborough Boarshead Pub Walk

Welcome back to Kent and Sussex walks. Today for our walk we ended up in Crowborough for an hour and a half walk which finishes up at the Boar’s Head pub where we stopped for a nice coffee. We parked up at the pub and put on our walking boots and coats before setting off and crossing the busy A26. This is the only bit of road on this walk which is great for any dog walkers and there were also no stiles.

You’ll pass a farm shop and some lovely orchards at the beginning of this walk with far-reaching views across the nature of Crowborough. We would have stopped into the farm shop and grabbed some fresh apple juice but unfortunately it had just closed. This walk was really nice and peaceful. We didn’t pass a single other walker. We rustled our way through some lovely leafy autumnal woodlands and finished up at the Boar’s Head Inn for a coffee.

The pub was really popular. There was barely a space in the car park. It seemed a real local rough-round-the-edges place and with lovely upbeat staff. We enjoyed our coffee and discussed what’s next for Kent and Sussex walks!
