Welcome back to Kent and Sussex walks. Today we were over near Canterbury for a fancy dress party, so decided to have a little walk and wander around the charming village of Wye. We stopped off at the end for a lovely coffee at the Wye Coffee Shop and Kitchen. This is a nice simple walk that takes you through a quiet estate before opening out onto some crop fields and alongside the great Stour River.
The parking was easy in the village centre and this walk would be great for dogs with just the one quiet estate to walk through and one style. It was such a hot day, so hot in fact that Tris had to take his top off. This late into the year it seems quite remarkable. We were both also still embracing our fake tattoos from the Halloween party the previous evening. We finished off at the Wye Coffee Shop and Kitchen for a quick coffee to perk us up.
This place was so cool, half pub, half coffee shop. They were even serving an amazingly reasonable roast dinner at only £14. Lovely atmosphere, good coffee, just what the doctor ordered.
