Hey everyone π²βΊοΈ For this lovely walk we went to Battle. This walk starts off at Powdermill Wood Carpark. π ΏοΈ The carpark is free but be aware the gates close at 6.30pm.
The walk takes you down a farm track and then through woods and crop fields before heading up a long gradual hill towards Battle town centre. Once in battle there are a plethora of cafes and pubs for you to stop off at.ππ»π΄
We decided on the @bullinnbattle (most places were closed at the time we arrived).π΄ The bull in served us up some great fresh lime sodas and coffees and Tris enjoyed some good old fashioned bangers and mash. The menu is great here, and well priced so we were chuffed.πππ»
The Bull Inn was dog friendly πΆ but do check if you go to another establishment.
The walk also seemed to be fairly friendly to our four-legged friends π ; no stiles that we can remember and very little walking on main roads. You do have to cross a couple of roads and there was a sheep π field or two, so keep your dog on the lead at times if they are rambunctious around sheep.
