Today we came across a real gem as we visited Missing Link Brewery which is hidden away in West Hoathly. A wicked venue and really great food here as well as a high end Burger Truck parked outside! They have 5 walks up on their wall and we decided to do their 1 hour long bonobo trail. We set off and met the Digger the Shetland along the first section who seems to like attention! There’s a section through woodland with a rocky ravine and a long farm track that makes for easy walking. The walk takes you through Sharpthorne and past the lovely church before a couple of fields take you back to the brewery. This is a nice and easy walk with no stiles!
The Missing Link Brewery has loads of house beers available and a fabulous food menu- so we couldn’t decide what to eat! We ended up sharing a few different dishes including shakshuka and a deep fried egg with smoked salmon and the flavours were amazing with really great attention to detail.
The burgers from the truck outside were amazing too! Breaded thigh fillet burgers that were bulging with chicken and the homemade sauces were super! Apparently the roasts here are incredible and sell out in 15 minutes so we’ve put it on our list to come back and try one!
