Welcome back to Kent and Sussex walks!
Today for our walk we headed over to Blackboys and we hit up the Cowshed cafe afterwards for a great breakfast.
We weren’t going to put this up as a video because there are no footpaths directly to the cafe… but the walk was so nice we just have to recommend it! There were so many beautiful bluebells in the woodland, amazing lakes and rivers and we had the perfect day with blue skies as well.
We parked up on a quiet housing estate and walked past the village hall and some allotments before some easy farm track on the way towards the rolling hills and bluebell filled woodland. The bluebells marvellous this time of year and we stopped for a few photos.
The walk is an hour long and there were three stiles with good dog access. On getting back to the car it’s just a 2 minute drive to the cafe.
As the name suggests this cafe used to be a cow shed and it’s still got the railings up inside. A really nice popular spot with a good breakfast menu and lots of nice cakes to choose from too! Chloe’s dairy free at the moment to try and help with bodhis awful colic, so got a nice dairy free mincemeat crumble
