Welcome back to Kent and Sussex walks.
The We Roam Kent coast Big walk and Wheel Challenge is happening until the 31st August 2026, where you can track your walks across Kent and win prizes like coffees at participating Shephard Neame pubs, stays at Shepherd Neame hotels in Kent, and you can even win a coaching session with Tristan or Chloe!
So this weekend we headed to The Botany Bay Hotel in Kent to try out the totally FREE We Roam App with the aim to win ourselves a free coffee!
The goal for this particular We Roam challenge is for the people of Kent to collectively walk the entire length of the King Charles coastal path, but your contributing steps can be walked anywhere in Kent. Just track your steps whenever you’re out walking in Kent with the We Roam app and you’ll accrue points which enters you in the 3 prize draws. You can even do our walks to rack up points!
There are Bronze, Silver and Gold pins on the map to collect too, the elusive gold ones win you prizes so get them quickly before they expire!
We really love this app because it gives you a reason to get out in the sun, with no pressure and win prizes for your steps and it doesn’t cost a penny.
