Westerham Chartwell Walk

Hey guys and welcome back to Kent and Sussex walks.

We’ve always wanted to do a snowy walk for you and today our wish came true. We were in Westerham today and luckily it had more snow than the surrounding areas and looked so lovely. We didn’t manage free parking today, but it was easy enough in Westerham town centre in a solid car park. We did however find a sweet free parking spot on the way to Chartwell for you guys.

So we’ll pop this below if you want a free spot to park up instead.

We set off down the road and after a short stretch through the high street you’ll head into open fields. We had amazing snowy scenery all the way to Chartwell through the woods and fields. We passed two great little snowmen on the way to Chartwell and the footpath comes out directly opposite which means no walking down dangerous roads.

Chartwell is a great National Trust venue to look around if you have the time: Winston Churchill’s old gaff! – but we just wanted to warm up in the cafe. We arrived just in time for me to have a spot of lunch and Chloe topped up her daily vitamin C quota with a juicy satsuma. This walk is about two hours long with dog friendly styles and the cafe was dog friendly, too.

So if you’d like to do this walk just click the link below to find the Ordnance survey route.
