This Cuckfield loop walk finishing at Tom’s Food Cafe is really lovely. The parking is free and super simple in Cuckfield village, and the cafe is just around the corner. The walk takes you down past the church and before long you’ll be walking through woodland and open fields. It was a drizzly day for us today, which was quite pleasant to be honest, a bit of a change after all the sun over the summer. This walk is fairly flat and only took us an hour and 45 minutes. There was a couple of stiles but nothing crazy. We walked passed lots of horses and Chloe gave them a good old stroke. We walked right past some gnarly looking pigs too, so cool!
Tom’s food is a really great little place. It’s a family run cafe and the staff were lovely. We had brunch here and it was really pleasant. If we are ever passing Cuckfield again, we’ll definitely be coming back!
