Godden Green Buckshead Inn Walk

Hey guys and welcome back to Kent and Sussex walks. Today we drove Sevenoaks direction to a little village called Godden Green.

We did a two-hour loop walk that was really excellent before finishing at the Buckshead pub for some lunch. This walk has barely any walking on the roads and no styles to mention either. Parking for this walk is right by the Buckshead pub and we were so lucky today. It was a bit warmer, no need for a coat and the sun was shining.

This walk takes you through some lush fields as well as a golf course and some woodland. A fallen telegraph pole in the woods was too tempting for Tris to avoid and he balanced his way across it just. The Buckshead pub has just been redone and it really is lovely inside. It’s really popular too and for good reason. The food was really great. Tris’s massive Yorkshire pudding style toad in the hole was so delicious and it came with five bangers!

You can tell loads of effort goes into the food here and it makes a big difference and makes sense why their roasts are sold out here most of the time. The menu has some really exciting options too and it’s updated every week.
