Hey guys, and welcome back to Kent and Sussex Walks. Today we met up with a good school friend of Tristan’s along with his wife. This is an excellent 2 hr 45 minute walk starting in Edenbridge, Kent, with a halfway stop at the Four Elms garden cafe. The cafe was superb and it’s great that you can get a roast there on a Sunday too!
We met up in Edenbridge and you can park at Mart yard free car park or along the road where the footpath begins. This walk was pretty flat and takes you across the train line where we were lucky enough to see the Edenbridge express passing by! There were lots of sheep along the way and we were blessed with lovely weather today too.
The Garden cafe really lived up to its great reputation. The portions were nice and big and the mixed roast is an excellent choice if if you’re hungry like Tris was, Chloe loved her prawn avocado toast though! It seems weird eating such a banquet in a cafe, but we all loved it! The staff were really friendly and if you come in the summer there’s a great decking you can sit out on with a lovely view.
You can get the train to the start of this walk too if you need, as it starts close to Edenbridge train station. If you would like to do the walk just click the link below to find the Ordnance survey Route. See you in the next one!
