Lamberhurst Teise And Coffee Walk

Hey guys and welcome back to Kent and Sussex Walks. We fancied a cafe today for a bit of brunch so we both skipped breakfast and met up in Lamberhurst outside Teise and Coffee Cafe where you can park up easily and for free right on the high street. It was a lovely sunny day so we lathered up in chemical-free sun cream and set off down the road.

There’s a great section to begin with along the River Tees before a section through the Fields of Bali. We camemacross a massive bird box atop a metal pillar, some serious infrastructure for a bird. This walk takes you through ancient woodlands and down farm tracks as well as through one sheep field. There was also lots of gorgeous wildflowers to admire along the way.

There is one section of about 10 minutes down a quiet back road and there was one style that didn’t have a dog gate but if you can navigate these then this walk is dog friendly.

The Teise and Coffee Cafe at the end of this walk was superb. You’re able to sit outside in the sun here and after someone said I look a bit pale earlier this week the sunshine was clearly just what I needed. We had a coffee each and they had our favourite coconut milk in stock. We tucked into a great bit of brunch. Tris had a full English and Chloe had a healthy poached eggs and smoked salmon on sourdough toast. The owner here is really friendly and there was a huge selection of lovely looking cakes as well.
