Ashurst Perryhill Farm Shop Walk

Welcome back to Kent and Sussex Walks. Today for our walk we were over near Ashurst  where we did a great two-hour walk past cows and horses with a little stop into Perry Hill Farm Shop and Tea Room.
The parking for this walk is at the farm shop with a great selection of goods and their tea room waiting for you at the end. For us though we were staying at the lovely Highfields Estate so we set off for a walk straight from the accommodation and for us the tea room break was halfway.

The walk takes you past beautiful Shire-O-Lay cows which are used to supply some of the top local pubs. This walk has a great amount of hills to keep you fit and strong and there was no walking on busy roads. There were three stiles on this walk all shown and getting a dog through would be easy enough. Perry Hill Farm Shop and Tea Room is a great little venue. There is a butcher’s there but wasn’t open today along with a great selection of fresh fruit and veg and we even had some sample tastes of various different local brews. We sat down on the nice decking and tucked into some delicious food. Tris got a great size jacket potato and I enjoyed a tasty salad. Cheers, nice and warm that’s a good jacket potato.

We headed back to our lovely accommodation at Highfields and relaxed in the Jacuzzi.
If you’re local we highly recommend a stay here so if you’d like to do this walk click the link below to find the Ordnance Survey route. See you in the next one!
