Welcome back to Ken and Sussex Walks. Today we enjoyed an hour-long riverside walk in East Peckham where we passed a gnarly goat, 13 rope swings and some sup boarders along the way. We finished up the lovely riverside cafe for a small bite to eat. We parked up at the cafe and a hole in the fence takes you to the footpath. There were no hills today and no stiles either. Maybe a good walk to do on a hangover but make sure to not fall in the river!!
Tristan trusted a questionable looking rope swing with my life and luckily it didn’t let me down as he flew over the river. We found less garish swing for Chloe to try too. The waterside cafe is a cute little place with a decent menu. We scoffed down a light bite each along with a good sized coffee. Chloe’s eggs and avocado was splendid and Tris enjoyed a falafel and hummus wrap.
