Hey everyone and welcome back to Kent and Sussex walks! We drove to Hever today for our walk and to one of our favourite cafes, an unknown gem – the Hever coffee shop. The parking for this walk is nice and easy as there is a free carpark right there and there are no stiles on this walk, super easy! We found a swing along the way but it was unfortunately a baby one, so we’ll have to come back with the nipper next year and try it out!
Theres a little bit of walking on the road to get to the first footpath, so be careful not to get knocked down by any careless drivers. We walked past some cows and had views with blue skies today, epic scenery! We walked along a peaceful section of river and past a railway bridge, we were lucky to see the train passing by as well!
The Hever coffee shop never disappoints. Roxy served us up a brace of nice big coffees, none of those Mickey Mouse coffees you get in a pub. We had a few snacks but just ordered the one plate of food today as we’d been out for dinner the night before. Chloe was disappointed to not find any eggs and avocado in Madeira so today her wish came true. The decorations here are unreal, they put so much effort into making the place look good and definitely try the cakes they are all homemade and are just so damn good.

See you in the next one!
