Ninfield Hope Cottage Cafe Walk

Welcome back to Kent and Sussex walks! Today we found such an  amazing little cafe and dined there after our walk-  the Hope Cottage Farm Shop, Cafe and Tea room in Hooe/Ninfield. This place was so cool, such a great menu, roasts on a Sunday and they do event days.  it was unbelievably cheap! We haven’t seen a roast dinner for this price in about 8 years!

The parking is at the cafe and there is just a short bit of road at the start before you’ll hit the first footpath. This footpaths round here are very peaceful and seem hardly used, so it was nice to give them some use. There were daffodils in full bloom along the way, open grass fields and little foot bridges. This walk is nice and easy and includes 9 stiles. We love meeting animals on our walks and were pleased to lure over some horseys on this one and give them a stroke.

The cafe was excellent, we had a scone as a starter, super cheap and super tasty also! We arrived a bit late for a roast, so we will have to pop back, but Tris had a homemade scotch egg and Chloe had a jacket potato. All great food we were really impressed and lovely friendly staff. It’s not much of a farm shop with only a few trinkets for sale and a freezer of frozen food but the cafe makes up for it!

So if you’d like to do this walk the link below takes you to the Ordnance Survey map. See you in the next one!
