Sedlescombe Queens Head Pub walk

Welcome back to Kent and Sussex walks! A walk around Sedlescombe was the order of the day today where we parked up in the village after a brief encounter with the famous resident geese who happened to be crossing the road. This walk is and hour and three quarters and finishes up at the beautiful Queens Head pub where I enjoyed a decent roast and Chloe had two starters, prawn cocktail and some chicken wings

We performed a rigorous safety test on the zip wire in the play park to ensure that it’s safe for the kids to use, before continuing on through the lush fields and woodland. We were lucky to meet a huge horse and I gave it a loving stroke. There’s a long section walking alongside a river so be sure not to fall in and theres a few road crossings too so don’t get run over either.

This walk takes you through battle great woods and avoids the shameful paid parking they’ve recently added at the main entrance. There are lots of stiles on this walk so be sure to watch the clips at the end of this video to see if you can handle them.

The queens head is a really awesome looking old building and the interior is done up in a similar fashion. They really love geese here with loads of paintings up on the walls. The food was a solid 7.5/10 and we sat right by the radiator so it was really cosey!
