Otford The Bull Walk

Hey guys and welcome back to Kent and Sussex Walks. The Bull Inn in Otford is under new ownership and has been decked out with flash new decor so we headed there today for a walk to scope it out.

This turned out to be a great decision, the walk had amazing views and there was so much wild fruit along the way. The pub stop at the end with their epic food and pub garden really put the icing on the cake. The parking is at the Bull where you’ll need to give your car details at the bar and let them know you’re doing our walk and that you’re stopping there afterwards.

The walk takes you along gravel paths slowly heading up the hill past loads of horses before reaching some perfectly placed benches with incredible views of Otford. The route takes you close to a footbridge crossing the M25 which we had to stop and have a look at. Someone had decided to hang a Union Jack and St George’s flag all the way up here too. There was so much fruit on this walk that was ripe for the picking but we’d forgotten our bag. There were loads of apple trees, blackberries and plum trees too.

The Bull Inn is such a great pub, they’ve got an amazing beer garden and the food menu is incredible with so many options. We had a full-on feast here, my food was delicious. Chloe had the seafood salad with prawns, mackerel pate, smoked salmon and some lovely warm bread. Tris scoffed down a massive roast as usual and rated it a 10 out of 10!
