Welcome back to Kent and Sussex Walks. Today we did a 1 hour 45 walk around Wadhurst stopping at the Café La Petite France at the end. We parked up on the high street and we’re pleased to announce that this week we’ve redeemed ourselves with some free parking. This walk took us through crop and sheep fields before you head down a steep hill and arrive at Buell Water.
The sun glistened across the surface of the water and we were chuffed that we lathered ourselves up with some Factor 50. This would make a great dog walk as there was only two small sections of road and only a couple of stiles and both with dog gates but beware of the cows and sheep. After walking through a farm yard and past the cows we head up the final stretch of road into Wadhurst where we stopped at La Petite France, a French style cafe for some food and drink.
This place serves all sorts of French snacks and small meals and had a lovely chilled out vibe. Tris chomped down on a goat’s cheese salad whilst we both sipped our tasty drinks and congratulated ourselves on the great walk we’d done.

See you in the next one!
