Westerham Squerryes Estate Walk

Welcome back to Kent and Sussex walks! Today we did our first there and back walk!

We found a great route to Squerrys wine estate where we stopped in for a lovely lunch before walking back to the car. You have the option to park at Squerrys also to do this walk!

Squerrys is a huge 2500 acre family owned estate on the slopes of the north downs where the grapes they grow are used to make classic method sparkling wine, our favourite… even though sadly Chloe could only enjoy a couple of slugs.

The walk there boasts amazing views over the local area and we spotted the first daffodils of the season! Theres a cool bridge over the busy M25 which is something rarely experienced and we were lucky to find a break in the rain on the way to squerryes before a huge downpour.

The 2aa Rosette restaurant is really smart and we enjoyed their new menu. We had oysters, roast turkey, venison pie and it’s all seriously high grade food, very fresh and lots of local sourced ingredients which we love! The devour here is right up our street, that classy old fashioned style, and the views over the estate are lovely –  this place must be even more epic come the summer. We had a quick mooch around the deli shop before heading back to the car.

Also if you use the code KSW01 when making a booking you’ll enter a monthly draw to win a boxed bottle of squerryes with 2 crystal glasses!
